BMW Taillights

Those of us who are endlessly (or pointlessly) interested in German cars noticed that something wasn't right with the otherwise beautiful BMW 3er Sedan. The taillights were kind of bland. Don't you think?



And it's clear that BMW recognized this too, because they have put beautiful, distinct taillights on all the new models and model refreshes that have followed. Witness the Z4 Coupe, 3er Cabrio and new X5 below. I am not a major fan of SUVs, but I have to say that the new X5 has a great rear end.

Look for improved taillights when the sedan undergoes a mid-cycle refresh in the next year or so.
