Pandora

At the recommendation of several folks, I tried out Pandora Internet Radio, which is pretty cool.

Back in the day (when I worked at Leapfrog and needed to block out my work environment) I used Yahoo! launchcast, which was (and is) a great early personalized music application. It let you listen to music you like and algorithmically find new stuff. Pandora is a lot like this, but it has a contemporary (and innovative) user interface and a hook ("The Music Genome Project," whatever that means).

And I have got my macbook hooked up to my stereo at home, so it's extra fun to play with personalized internet radio.
