Made in the USA

Made in the USA. It seems to me like this will have to be the phrase for the nation in 2009.

How else will Americans cope with the major challenges they face. Declining incomes, declining home prices, bank bailouts.

America will have to choose where it wants to put its money, whether that be complex financial instruments (what we've really been exporting in the last 15 years), or or....

Or will we re-tool and re-orient our limping manufacturing sector towards green energy and green vehicles. We need these products here, and we need our blue collar Americans to know that we're all in this together.
