A New Niche Publication

While I was in my class yesterday I found the oddly titled "Friction Zone" motorcycle magazine, its title referring to the zone between a fully engaged clutch and a fully engaged gear-- essentially when you're slipping the clutch. How niche!

It brought to mind Calvin Trillin's famous one-issue publication on parking, "Beautiful Spot."

So I offer you something I've always been interested in promoting-- the art of driving a manual transmission: Downshifting Magazine. What a world it would be if more folks knew how to optimize engine power. I have at least 10 article ideas, which means I should really start planning a launch right now.

What niche publication would you start?
