2 Podcasts Worth Listening To This Week

I wandered around SF yesterday morning listening to music, but also listening to some podcasts. These two stood out.

NPR's Fresh Air re-ran a 2006 interview with Phillip Roth talking about his novel Everyman. He's a pretty interesting guy, especially talking about the writing process, death and religion.

Bob Boilen, also of NPR, recalls June 1967 (40 years ago) when Sergeant Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band came out. He thinks it changed the way a generation listened to music.
