McCain's Big Bet

McCain Sees ‘No Plan B’ for Iraq War- The New York Times.

The Times editorial board and reporters met with Senator John McCain this week, and they have a thoughtful summary of the presidential candidate's positions, most notably his impassioned view that the United States needs to stabilize Iraq's security. This interview encapsulates the policy view of McCain as he runs one last time for the Presidency.

I do not agree with John McCain and I do not think he will be the Republican nominee, but I respect him for his honest passion for the mission that President Bush embarked on. It is refreshing to see an honest politician defend Iraq, and it is nice that some newspapers continue to take the election process seriously. There will be more of these serious interviews in the months to come.

Which candidates from either party will take a different honest view of Iraq?
