I almost always write about lyrics when I write about music here. But I have been listening to this double album from Miles Davis today, which has no lyrics to post.
It's a great live album featuring the last performances of so many of Davis classics and jazz standards (before he went towards fusion). And if you read the liner notes you discover that the performance was so charged (and so surprisingly high-tempo) because the musicians were pissed! Miles Davis had volunteered them to play without pay, though their services would benefit a voting-rights benefits without asking them.
If you have the inclination, note the scream from the audience on "Stella By Starlight."
