Snowy Tahoe Days

Yesterday the rain turned to snow just past Colfax on Interstate 80, and I had to put chains on my rear-wheel drive sedan. My friends think I'm crazy to drive this car up here, but it does all right in the snow (and it is so much more fun than their AWD cars every other day).

And now it's just me and my dog in our cabin this Friday morning. My friends arrive tonight. I guess I'll just go skiing :-).
