I think Barak Obama gets a good deal of attention from Democratic operatives because he's such a refreshing voice. Whatever he is for (I'm not really sure), he's not named Clinton, Kerry or Gore.
But if you could have anyone you want (from either party) run for President in 2008, who would it be?
To start things off, I'm going to propose a name that has not had much speculation around it in this campaign cycle. He's got military and diplomatic chops, he's not polarizing, and he's the kind of guy this country will need to clean up the mess in Iraq that is certain to be around in January, 2009. (He has a little baggage, yes).
Who will join me in supporting Colin Powell?

I would certainly support him, but hasn't he gone on record saying he won't run for president? Has he changed his mind?
