So long, Ed Bradley. To me, he was classic 60 Minutes (though Mike Wallace and Morley Safer predated him on the broadcast). I remember working in the newsroom when he filled in for Dan Rather on the Evening News. Every time he hosted we would get calls from little old ladies objecting to the earring he was wearing on such an serious broadcast.
