I was surprised to read that the all-new BMW 3 Series Coups is longer than the 3 Series Sedan.
The 2007 coupe comes in at 180.3 inches, while the sedan is just 178.2 inches.
I was sure that that didn't make sense, and that coupes *can't be longer than sedans*. But then I went back to 2001 (In Edmunds) and looked at the Coupe (176.7 inches) and Sedan (176 inches). So coupes are indeed commonly longer than their sedan relatives, it just happens that BMW is increasing the relative difference in size.
More important than all this, I'm still undecided if I like this car.
